Stay in the meeting. Leave with the notes.

Epilude records the meeting on your Mac, with no bot joining the call. When it ends, you get a clean transcript, a summary you can edit, and action items with owners and due dates.

Alright, let's kick off the sprint planning. What's the status on the authentication refactor?

Them

We finished the OAuth integration yesterday. Just need to write tests and update the docs.

You

Great. Mike, can you have that wrapped up by Wednesday? We need it before the security audit.

Them

Wednesday works. I'll also need to coordinate with the DevOps team on the deployment config.

The transcript builds live. The summary lands when you stop.

In closed beta

Meeting Notes is in closed beta and not yet available to everyone. This page describes how it works.

No bot joins your call

Meeting bots sit in the participant list and change how people talk. Epilude records from your Mac instead: your microphone and the meeting audio, captured on your side. Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack huddles, or a conversation across the table. If your Mac can hear it, Epilude can take the notes.

Summaries that match the meeting

A standup is not a sales call. Epilude classifies each meeting automatically and shapes the summary to it: decisions, open questions, blockers, commitments, takeaways, whichever the conversation actually produced. Every summary opens with a short overview, and key points cite the transcript so you can check what was really said.

Action items with owners and due dates

“Mike will send the deck by Friday” becomes a to-do assigned to Mike and dated Friday, with a link back to where it was said. Epilude extracts only what was agreed out loud: it never invents an owner or guesses a deadline. Check items off, edit them, or re-extract the list after the meeting.

Your notes are files on your Mac

Every meeting saves as a Markdown file in a folder you choose (Documents by default), alongside a searchable library in the app. Open a note in Obsidian, paste it into Notion, or export a PDF when someone asks for a copy. Search finds any meeting by title, transcript, summary, or action item.

One Markdown file per meeting, in a folder you choose.

It catches the meeting for you

When a call starts in Zoom, Meet, Teams, or another meeting app, Epilude offers to record with one click. Turn detection off per app, or start recordings yourself with a hotkey. And if your Mac restarts mid-meeting, the recording is recovered when you come back.

Works with every meeting app.

Epilude records from your Mac, not from inside the call, so there is no bot to invite and nothing to connect. Any meeting your Mac can play becomes a transcript, a summary, and action items, whichever app it happens in. The notes save as Markdown, ready to paste wherever your team already works.
